WE ARE DOOMED!!

Wednesday, April 26th, 2006

We are not safe anymore. Anywhere at all. You may think you are safe in the house but think twice, anywhere is unsafe now. We are doomed. Look at the storm yesterday. It was very unfortunate that the person was at the wrong place and at the wrong time. He was struck by lightning at the field in front of Amcorp Mall. Maybe he was not supposed to be at the field. We all know how dangerous it is and also under a tree. What about in the house?? Luckily 11 ppl inside the house escaped. The bolt of lightning struck the first floor bedroom.

The whole world in chaos. No where is safe. The world is coming to an end.

RECHARGE

Monday, April 24th, 2006

i guesss sometimes in our daily and stressful lives, we are always side-tracked and forgotten how important some things are around us. Our soul is just like our engine, it needs to be cleansed and recharge with positive vibes. We are frequently bombarded with negative energy which we do not realize. And after a talk with a friend, i guess is high time i rechaarge myself. I have been hitting the brickwall in my business for far too long and couldnt find a way out. I spent too much time pondering and trying to think of ways to solve it.  So, lets see what happens after i recharge my soul (hopefully the current is stable :)) if not, i need to grow a rambutan tree.

Mistake No.3

Saturday, April 22nd, 2006

MIstake No.3.
yes. this is the title of the song by Boy George. Found it by accident. Em..haven’t hear of it before. It’s a nice and simple song. Love it!

You can’t bystand all the people
Stand them on their own, They will fall to pieces
So we watch them grow Into strange and pretty faces
I don’t know, Clutching to my lipstick traces
Watch them go

Chorus:
Make mistake number three
Make mistake number three
Make mistake number three

It’s strange how much it changes
How they want to know, How cynical are people
That’s where children go

Dragged into a conversation, They can’t hold
It’s so sad
But it prepares them for the mould

(chorus)

Why is my love like an ocean run dry?
Why is my love, Such a struggle with life?

You can’t bystand all the people
Stand them on their own
They will fall into pieces
So we watch them grow

(chorus)

SHIT

Monday, April 17th, 2006

Yes. Shit. I mean real shit. Bird shit to be exact. I got down the car and walked towards to the coffee shop and suddenly i felt something dropped on my shirt. Man…of all things, bird shit!! geez…on my white shirt somemore. C’mon, so many people walk in out and it had to be me. This wasn’t enough, i left my car key in the car later in the evening at 1 Utama shopping. Damn! Had to buy some rulers and cucuk till the door opened. So, whether is good luck or bad luck, i got no idea. All i know is that there are many weird things that i had to face in my life. You think i am kiddin? Tell me, how many people in the world could actually hit a bird while driving? yes….driving…then hit a bird at 120kph. I’m the Man…

Somehow, my best choice is still I Should Have Known Better. Is not the best among all but i find the song somehow unique and is very hard to find this song. I bet many of you have not heard of it also. Unless of coz you are borned in the early 70’s and went thru the New Wave and Top of The Pops era. hehe. oh..here it is..a picture of him and the lyrics:Diamond

SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER - 01/12/1984
1 week at #1 - 13 weeks on chart

And I shoulda known better
To lie to one as beautiful as you
Yeah, I should have known better
To take a chance on ever losing you
But I thought you’d understand
Can you forgive me

I saw you walking by the other day
I know that you saw me, you turned away
And I was lost
You see, I’ve never loved no one as much as you
I’ve fooled around but tell me now just who is hurting who

And I should have known better
To lie to one as beautiful as you
Yeah, I should have known better
To take a chance on ever losing you
But I thought you’d understand
Can you forgive me

I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I
Shoulda known better
I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I
Shoulda known better

It’s true, I took our love for granted all along
And trying to explain where I went wrong
I just don’t know
I cry but tears don’t seem to help me carry on
Now there is no chance you’ll come back home, got too much pride

And I should have known better
To lie to one as beautiful as you
Yeah, I should have known better
To take a chance on ever losing you
But I thought you’d understand
Can you forgive me
Ughh
I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I love you
I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I love you

No-no-no-no-no-no I love you
No-no-no-no-no-no, yeah
And I should have known better
To lie to one as beautiful as you

So, hope you enjoy these selections and i will be back for more of good ol’ 80s sentimental songs selection.

Scarlet

Saturday, April 1st, 2006

Just came back frm Spore. Went there for a day trip sponsored by Motorola to attend their Mobbed launch at Red Dot Muzium. It wasn’t a spectacular launch but it was great to know more ppl. We were put up at Scarlet, the boutique hotel. I was told that the hotel was very very nice. The moment we got down, i have to agree. The interior of the lobby was nice. The use of red color is boldy used to reflect the hotel’s name. Gold is also extensively used to bring out the richness of the overall mood. The staffs uniform looks like a modern dracula costume but it wasn’t that horrid la. They looked quite smart, actually.

Scarlet1I want to show you all the photos of the launch party and photos i taken of the hotel but sadly, there was something wrong with the memory card and all the photos were gone :(  haih….

We had a bad food experience during our stay. On our arrival, we had our lunch at one of those restaurants in chinatown. Almost every dishes were covered with oil. Then later in the evening, we went to chinatown again and we went to this place called, S’pore Heritage, i think. On the first page of the menu, we were greeted by the owner named Alvin. There were a few photos of him with long white/silver hair and showing off his six pegs. Apparently, he was the champion of Asian Body Building few yrs back. I did a research on him online just now. erm…interesting chap. A celebrity chef in spore. But anyway, the food was so-so. I think i’ll eat fast-food or western food in Spore on my future trip.

Scaret3Back at Scarlet, my room was smaller than the others coz i am staying alone mah. It was a Standard room but it was comfy. I like the bathroom more, actually. And i got to sleep with 4 big pillows and 2 more smaller ones. I was told that other rooms had their shower comes out frm the ceiling light above. How interesting. Then their room got space for sofas, among other things. There are no windows in the Standard rooms. The rooms are actually built underground, if i am not mistaken.

At 8am, there was a repeated announcement on a fire alarm. "This is a fire alarm. Pls do not panic and remain calm…" It repeated again and again for about 15mins. I was still in bed, obviously. Too lazy to even get up. I just listened to the announcement and i thought, o shit…i am naked now, should i put on some clothes and wait for their announcement to RUN or wait until they announce RUN! FIRE! then only dress up. Still in bed, i looked at the fake window which is plastered with semen. Great, no windows, cant escape. Then i thought, in case of a real fire, i should get myself wet with the blanket and dash out but not forgetting to scoop along all my belongings.

So, is a false alarm, afterall. Luckily i din get up to change. I had breakfast at ‘Desire’ (the hotel’s restaurant). A simple buffet breakfast. I took the scrambled eggs, ham…and…i was looking around…searching…where are the red beans?? No red beans?? Scrambled eggs with no red beans?? Gosh…how can.

Scarlet2 This is me with Yvonne. She is one of the event organizer for motorola and she is ipoh lang. knew her since Form 2. Took this pic along the corridor near the entrance of Scarlet hotel.

Again, too bad the memory card spoiled. There were many interesting and nice pics at the Mobbed launch :( *sob*
