There’s this new place called Strip in Bangsar and they do Brazillian wax among other things like pedicure etc. i thought i was invited there to cover it as an opening or launching event. Instead i was booked to try the Boyzillian wax. I din know what was it at first. I am always a sotonghead and nvr read properly in all my invitations. So, Brazilian Wax to me sounded like a spa massage therapy thingy..duh..

As i was having lunch with Angie, then only i realized what it was. Deng-deng…alarm rang thru my head. "No way!No-no" I told her. Being so naive and of coz in our culture here, isnt it a bit weird for guys to do it. Angie repeated a few times, "I’m gonna get you a Boyzillian". I can only imagine she is sending me a guy, probably not a straight one handle me. "NO-No…no boyzillian for me. No boys".

Anyway, have to go also la. The place is not bad. No fancy decor but it looks raw against some of the more contemporary stools and place for pedicure. Was talking to angie there and met up with the outlet manager. So, curiousity and questions filled my mind. I don’t see any boy-zillian. but a few young looking gals. i asked angie and yes, they are your brazillians or boyzillians. Ahh….angie and the manager tried to coax me into doing it the whole hour but i had to go for a meeting around there. I thought i could escape. At least when i go back, there might be many other guests arrived and they won’t have time for me, i thought.

After the meeting, i went up…before i could even pee, there they were…angie and the manager…surrounding me and forcing me to try it. OK la…being a good sport, i tried. I’m OK with all these shaving-down-there thing. I think it’s hygenic but to do shapes?? Anyhow, for guys, i think they are more shy and the thought of your private part being shown or look at by someone u dun know, is a little bit uneasy. And the next thing is, is it painful? how painful?

i took it very well. I treated this like seeing a doctor. I mean what can she do, rite? She has to be a professional too. So, went in there and stripped. She’s cool. She explained all the tools and procedures. I tried to strike more conversation with her so that it wont feel that awkward. As she was doing it, i was like….how embarassing if i get a hard on now. omg…how la? Fret not, men. You won;t get a hard on in that situation, especially doing it for the first time. It’s painful as it got to the inner parts. O man…i swear i could imagine blood gushing out and spill to the floor. Ah…should i shout or wat….being a guy, we normally just swallow the pain. ego mah. Can you imagine the whole session is like you are opening and closing the velcro?? haha…

so, they can do 5 designs for you here - landing strip, straight up, love…forgot the other 2. Obviously is not love for me. She asked me what shape. huh? must choose meh?? i asked her to recommend. Yaya…i That wont be so embarassing, isn;t it…hehe. She chose a shape. I dunno what to think then. I have to decide or i would regret it if i dun like it after she’s done. Ahh…alamak..how ar? ahh…brilliant idea..i told her don’t tell me what shape you think suitable for me. Just do it la…and i will surprise myself later. Trying to be more adventurous…

anyway, there’s nutin to be embarass about. only question i din ask the girl is how does her bf taking it. And waxing is not a permanent thing. O man…have to do it every month?? if it’s cheaper, i think i would. Luckily i am single now. kakaka. Duno what will a gf think or do.

so, no pain, no gain.
lets see if a girl wud find it cute…ermm….
